WHO AM I ?

hello guys, welcome back to my blog in this post I will try to describe how about myself. actually I also lack understanding about myself, this might be a little strange, but that's the reality.

my full name is Desi Maranata, people usually call  me Desi or Nata. but I prefer it when called Nata. I was born on December 19, 2000, and at this time I am 18 years old to 19 years old. the time that I passed seemed so fleeting, everything felt like a dream. I currently still feel like children who have not been able to face the challenges of life, the life process feels so heavy. but I am grateful because I have a family, friends especially God who always strengthen, support and even take care of me until now.

I was born on an island, namely Rupat Island precisely in Titi Akar. in this place I learned a lot of things that I encountered and I learned. on this island i have a lot of diversity both in terms of culture and religion, there is a Chinese culture, Akit (old Malay and indigenous tribe), Batak, Nias, Javanese, Malay also Christianity, Buddhism, Islam and Confucianism. but all of them live peacefully without disputing differences, I am a Peranakan tribe (Akit mixed with China) and have the clan Wi (the writing is not sure), sometimes myself get confused when other  people ask  me about the tribe. there are so many people who think I am a Batak people, when I say I'm not, i’am a Malay tribe (which actually isn't Malay), many people are surprised but how come Christianity? he said. I can only answer God's way no one knows and this is what happened to me and I really like this and I am proud.

Talking about expertise, I once thought that I didn't have any expertise. I'm not a person who is an expert in the fields of painting, dancing, I'm not a creative person and I don't know what my abilities are. I tried to find but could not, maybe I'm not sensitive to myself. I like playing volleyball, singing, playing the guitar, but that is not my concern. I want to try to do useful things, but I'm confused where to start. and I hope someday I can become a successful person with the abilities that I have.

I finished my studies from elementary school to high school on the island of Rupat (at that time there was no kindergarten yet), when I wanted to continue my college I continued in Pekanbaru. when choosing a major I was confused about what course to choose, then there were those who suggested finding a course needed by someone else. then finally I chose the English department, and wanted to be a teacher. this is because in my area there are still very few teachers, especially English teachers. When I was in school, we had no English lessons, so when we were confused at the national exams in answering questions, I finally determined that I didn't want to see the next generation feel what we felt, I wanted them to be better than us and to be able to develop more fast. and finally I entered the Lancang Kuning University majoring in English education, I feel my English skills are still very lacking and until now I am still trying to get better, I want to learn more and more to improve my ability. so that when I graduate I will be able to share knowledge and be useful to others.
